PAWS - Importation and Quarantine Information

What to do if your pet is missing

  1. Contact us and let us know about the missing pet; we'll post an image on this website and alert our members
  2. Call DPS and file a report.  Put a flier up at DPS so the officers know that you are missing a dog.  They patrol the streets, and may notice a dog that looks like your missing pet.
  3. Prepare a flier and hand it out in your neighborhood.  You would be surprised at how much your neighbors know.  Don't be afraid to hand out fliers outside of your neighborhood – at local churches, grocery stores, gas stations, Ace Hardware, etc. If you talk to people about your missing pet, be sure to write down the name, contact information, conversation details, and neighborhood of the individual to whom you spoke.
  4. Post a flier at Dr. Tudor's Office on Middle Road (234-9669) and Dr. dela Cruz's clinic in As Lito (234-6169).
  5. Contact the media and PAWS and remind them to republish your flier.  People will continue to look for your pet, they just have to be reminded to do so.
  6. For a small fee, you can publish an advertisement of your pet at MCV.  Contact the television station and see if that cost fits your budget.
  7. Never give up.  Be persistent.  Annoy people with your concerns and pleas.
