June 4, 2008: Kittens Up for Adoption:

Kittens

On Friday, May 30, 2008, a Saipan resident found a box taped shut on the side of the road in
Navy Hill.  The box contained four (4) kittens that are estimated to be around 5-6 weeks old.

“We know people are desperate to find homes for animals, but to go to this extreme is cruel.  Call PAWS at 285-PAWS and we will help you find a home for unwanted animals,” said PAWS President Busenkell.

The kittens appear to be healthy and happy at their foster home.  If you are interested in fostering and/or adopting one of these playful and loving kittens, please contact Rachell via email at rachell.miles@gmail.com or at 322-2104 or 286-7909.

Also available for adoption is a male kitten that is thought to be about 6-8 weeks old.  “He has beautiful markings and would be a perfect cat for a family with no other animals,” said PAWS Vice President Melissa Simms who is fostering the animal.  If you are interested in adopting this kitten, please contact Melissa at melissasimms56@hotmail.com, 234-1253 or 285-PAWS

January 6, 2008: Shima and Max:

Shima

Shima (pictured) is a spayed 9 year old female tabby with all of her shots.

She is good with people, but has to get used to them first and is a little scardie cat at first, then she wants to be right next to you all the time. She is pretty verbal, but her talking has mellowed with age. She is the sweetest kittie we have ever had.

Max (not pictured) is a16 year-old male who was brought here from the states twelve years ago. Shima and Max love each other. Max is too old to leave the island so we must find a home for him.

So, PLEASE if you have room in your home for one or two cats - both spayed/neutered with shots - please email Mary at mabwilliams@yahoo.com  or call Jill at 287-5455.
